I have time for a quick update, then i should probably do my ridiculously easy math homework for my next class.
There is this fantastic young couple that moved here last year. They're missionaries from Africa (northern) but are from the States. Their names are Christian and Erin Heddick! What beautiful people they are, such arrows of the Lord. Christian is going to UF for graduate school so they'll be here for a couple years. They are now serving our college/career age group at our church. Christian, along side of Mr. Courson is helping lead the group. I cannot tell you how wonderful it is having them! We just started a book/topic study on apologetics. I have already learned so much. I am so excited to see what God has in store for us, especially with this couple being involved.
Well, life overall is good. Been trusting in the Lord with certain things, having to cast my cares at the foot of the Cross and recieve His grace. But life is good.
School is so much fun. Most of my homework consists of taking pictures and drawing. Now, don't be fooled, it's not as easy as it sounds (particularly the drawing, that can be a pain at times) but I'm definitly not complaining! :-) However, in my Mixed Media class we're having to work on a themed series (which takes a ton of thought to put in it, and several rejected ideas - from the teacher - many "flesh your ideas out more" or "how are you going to visually make that interesting to the audience" or "you can't just do something because you like it, how does this relate to YOU, and tell us through the picture WHY it's important to you". You get the idea, it can be frusterating). But yesterday, my teacher said my work looks like something from a psychedelic 70s rock cartoon. I'm not gonna lie, it did, and we laughed.
This past weekend, my good friend Emily came to see us (well, for a party, but mostly to be here). On Saturday we (Alli, Emily, Tyler D., and myself) drove to Alachua and spent a few hours taking pictures for my photography class (we're in our portaiture assignment - SO fun!) We had an amaazinggg time! Picnics, pictures, fashion stores, Blue Bell ice cream, memories. The whole weekend was a blast!
And now I must go, but I will leave you with this.

T-minus 8 days until Spring Break starts! Gonna kick start it with a day with my dear friend Rayna - an art gallery opening - annnnd an AVETT BROTHERS concert!
Love you all.
