These past few weeks have been insane. We spent a week in orlando and ormond... which was AMAZING! I will post pics soon hopefully. We spent a few days with Stephanie which was a blast! And then we drove over to Ormond and spent a few days with Rayna and her family (!!!). David and Abbott came to the beach while we were there! What fun! And then we went BACK to Orlando again! THis week was definitely a highlight of the summer! (if only I had gotten a picture my octupus' garden plate, steph!, haha)
When we got back we got straight involved with the petition drive our church was involved in. (long long story into a sentence - the city went too far and passed a very bad law and so we reacted in getting petitions signed to bring it to a vote). THe Lord was SO faithful to us. Oh my goodness, the stories I could tell you! While we were protesting, there were other protesters that came protesting against us; calling us liars and many other names. One very angry, very emotional lesbian lady told me she would kill me if I took another picture of her. haha, fun times, eh?
Other fun things: ladies game night and scrapbooking day! tennis, our night and all day Saturday with my dear friend Ellie (who is about to move to go to South Eastern :-( ) and many other things. And now Mamaw and Papaw are coming tomorrow! And Steph and the kids later this week! Amazing!!
And for some very exciting news - - - I am now and art scholarship student! The scholarship I wrote about months ago, the one I thought the door had completely closed on... I got a call from SFC saying I was an alternative for the scholarship... and somebody didn't take it! So I am now under the scholarship program! I am going to be a lot busier this fall as a result of it, but still! God is so good!
All the while God is moving and doing cool things in us! How I love our savior!!

Totally excited to see you later this week AND couldn't be happier that you got the scholarship! Thank You, Lord! What a blessing. Can't wait to see what neat art pieces come out this next year! Speaking of which...how are my art pieces turning out???!!!!! :)
