Anyway...
So last week and the beginning of this week screamed to my face how busy this semester is. But thankfully, after few back to back over-nighters and countless hours of monotonous deatails on my projects, with the obvious grace of God, I got through my first faze of deadlines. I am done with my Fall A class - Thank the Lord! It was a lot of work... pretty much the took a 16-week course, knocked 2 projects off and squeezed it in to 6 weeks. Yeah. Funnn. No, it was actually good, just a little trying at times. BUt my other classes are awweesome. We finished building our chairs, our cube projects, and I did well on my first paper and test in art history. SO that's all good.
I would ask for prayer - this next week I am going to be talking to various knowledgeable people about my major. Over the last month I've been feeling the door close, and my heart change towards the idea of graphic design. In place of that, I have been more interested in the classic visual arts and photography. Also, I have been starting to have faith to (if I make it that far) go for my Masters Degree so that I can become a college professor. For now, I am trying to discern where the Lord is leading me, and which field to major and apply in (there are a couple I am contemplating). So, if you think about me... be praying that I will feel the Lord leading me in this decision.
In Driven (our college group) we've started going over the book "Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life" by Donald Whitney. Last night we discussed the chapter and topic of worship... SO GOOD! I encourage everyone to read this book, thus
far, I am being so blessed and challenged by it. And on a similar note - I am in LOVE with our Driven meetings. They are pretty much my highlight of the week when we have them.
Some bullets of other stuff going on...
- this week I helped install my first gallery (not MY, but the first one I helped with)... opening show on tuesday should be cool

(This picture cracks me up because I kept asking caleb to smile, alec did, but not caleb... and so I said "caleb, you didn't smile, come on!" and alec turns to him and was like "Caaalllllleebbbb!" and then punched him... hahahaha. don't worry, it wasn't that violent, just funny)
Sweet baby girl and her favorite auntie =) =)
And here is my chair! I spent more time on this piece than any art piece in my life... (it's taller than Celeste, who it 5'3")
