the fun continues...

Well, we have been having a blast!
On Monday morning we met up with some of our friends to go swimming in Haile.
We had a chicken fight, and I had Alec on my shoulders... Let's say I probably recieved the most damage in the game (what with him constany smacking and pulling on my face...haha). We've played Mario Kart, and the Legend of Zelda (old school!!).
Tuesday Alli got sick... so we mostly hung low most of the day (and I got my hair cut!) But this morning I took the boys to see "The Pirates Who Don't DO Anything" at our theatre (which is doing free kids movies in the mornings this summer). That place was packed out! The boys seemed to like the movie!

We've been having fun. Every night we either read.. or I make up a story for their bedtime story. Tonight's featured King Jaleb and Sir Prince Michael as they joined together with the other kings of the West (King Phillip, and others) along with their own friends... Sir Tolin, Sir Shacob and Sir Koshua (see anything familiar?? ;-) in their battle against the evil dark dragons and the menacing eastern Island giants otherwise known as the Shebels! It was a story of epic proportions, with a suprise ending in an aliance with the Western dragons. But I don't want to give it all away! ;-)

Tomorrow we're heading over to a friends to go swimming and then we'll probably hit up the Museum of Natural History, and depending on how it goes, West Side park. It will be a busy day!
I haven't gotten many pictures, but I will tomorrow! Here are a couple:

The Park

Well the boys are here for the week and boy are we having fun!

I'll post more about the weekend later. But I wanted to post a few pics from today!
This afternoon we went the the park (yes, our very favorite kanapaha)
It was hot, but we had a blast! Stevo joined us.
Then we all went to McDonalds... then home to get cleaned up, have some N64 Mario Kart races... A theatrical bedtime story (narrated by myself, acted out by alli and stephen), which - might I add, the boys LOVED.

After they went down a few people came over and we played CatchPhrase and had a great time fellowshipping (Stacie Hubert is in town!)

Many more adventures lay adead of us this week. Until then - here are some pictures.
(yes, I am normally not a fan of slide shows for myself, but for the sake of time...)
